Tom was my Dad’s Godson and was named after my Dad, Thomas. Tom’s father was my cousin. His father was a wonderful person. I see that he liked something that my Dad loved, listening to his LP’s. Rest In Peace.

Hey dad. Thinking of you a lot the last few days. Last night, I found this picture I took of you. That’s the “Jessie” face- whenever we were goofing around having fun. We spent a lot of time on that porch, spending time together. Soaking in the sun. Listening to the water. Talking about how much we loved the sound of the ocean. We just bullshitted for days. I think that’s what I’ll miss the most dad. You had this uncanny ability to talk to anyone about anything and an indeterminate amount of time. Just like Grandma, I always felt present with you. One of those special people who keeps me grounded and out of my head.
I’ve been missing you a lot the last few days. We’re keeping it together, but I feel like falling apart. I miss your warm embrace and your bear hugs. The stress of this is overwhelming and I just want to hear you tell me it’s going to be alright. I have old voice mails. I listened to them right after you died but I haven’t in a couple of weeks. I looked at pictures the last few days. I cry when I see your smile. I know when you’re genuinely happy. I can recall your mood and know when you were sad. You had this huge presence dad and without it there is this gaping hole in my life.
I guess this is a long and drawn out way to tell you I miss you a lot right now and I’m thinking about you constantly. Wherever you are...

My sincerest condolences to the Vanacore family. Many memories of Tom through the years always smiling and possessing a calm pleasant demeanor. My last memory of Tom is him at my Christmas party just this past December, Enjoying the food and drink, laughing with him, and a big goodbye hug. An all-around good Man is the best way to describe Tom. He will be missed by many. Watch over Andrea and the girls Tom. No doubt you’re resting in the most beautiful of places. And to Tom's Family

Dad. On this day we shared ice cream. I think it was vanilla chocolate chip. It was Father's Day, 2019. I told you I couldn't make it up to see you, meanwhile, Mom and I had a plan. She told you she wanted to "take a ride" to a cat shelter in New Hope. I jumped out in the middle of the road, to surprise you. We had such an amazing day putzing around, talking about life., reminiscing about Hawaii, yapping about my stupid car accident, the rental car and whatever other nonsense was bothering me that day. You always listened and had some good advice to share. I was so happy to be with you on this day. I thought to myself, "Damn, my dad is cool." I'm so sad you've left us, too soon. Too unexpected. It hurts, but I know you would want to make sure I'm okay.

Family Vacation 2019, Hawaii. Dad fell in love with the ocean. We slept every night with these windows wide open, overlooking the sea. We were lulled to sleep by the waves meeting the cliffside. This was nearly a year ago to the day. <3
