Obituary of Lynne Wambold

Lynne Wambold, 78, of Glen Rock, New Jersey passed away at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 after her long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Lynne spent her early childhood in Jersey City. From there, she and her family moved to Fair Lawn where she lived until she married Dave Wambold and moved to Parsippany, NJ. Following their fourteen years in Parsippany, the couple and their two children moved to Glen Rock where she spent her remaining time. Lynne graduated from Seton Hall University with a BA in Early Childhood Education. She taught second grade for five years at the Mt. Tabor School in Mt. Tabor, NJ. After the birth of her children, Daniel and Amy, Lynne dedicated her time and energy to her family as well as volunteering for the PTA, Girl/Cub Scouts, and other community projects. Lynne is survived by Dave, her loving husband of 57 years, her daughter Amy (Wambold) Hughes, and her son, Dr. Daniel Wambold and his wife, Anne. In addition to her four grandchildren, Jake, Ellison, Ashley, and Jane, she is also survived by her five siblings Cheryl Bleyhl, Virginia Hanson, Margaret O’Neill, Christine Knowles, and John Henson. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lynne’s memory can be made to the Michael J.
