My Aunt Lynne: Oldest Sister of 5 daughters. Patient, creative Teacher. Devoted Wife and Mother. Delightful Auntie. Feisty, brilliant, witty, fiercely independent. Talented artist. Lover of stale Easter Peeps and Fair Lawn, N.J.'s Hannah Krause Chocolate. Elvis fangirl for life. Wonderful human. I didn’t know her as well as my cousins growing up because my Mom was the youngest (they were 16 years apart) and we lived in Vermont while most of the family lived in Jersey; so I never got to know her as well as they did. But I loved her dearly, and was always excited to see and talk with her at family gatherings. She was always so thoughtful with me, funny, encouraging, and never made me feel less than a loved part of our big Irish family even though I was always a little weirdo She totally got me! She gave me a super/cool Jansport backpack for my first day of high school when I was nervous. She sent me pictures from our Easter gatherings and sent me handwritten cards. Even though I always felt a little further away from our clan because of distance and being one of the youngest cousins, she always made sure I knew that I was never far away in their hearts and hers.
R.I.P. Aunt Lynne. May your memory always be a blessing. You were certainly a blessing to us! And the love you gave us? That will never die.
Love, Shannon.

She was/is my big sister, my second mother, my friend. Talented and wise, she excelled at everything she did. She was protective, loving, fierce, intelligent, creative and had a wonderful sense of humor. She helped me during some of the most difficult times in my life quietly and confidentially. I will remember laughing with her on our road trip through New England, people watching at the Renn Faire in NY and sharing Hannah Krause on our many Sister's Nights. Love never ends.......

Lynne was my Godmother and my mom's best friend. Her unyielding belief in me got me through many tough times in my life whether she knew it or not. She literally saved my life! and why I will never have another peanut-butter sandwich eating contest with Danny again. She was so creatively talented, funny and brilliantly peculiar! I love her with all my heart and soul and am relieved she is finally at peace.

To know my mother was to love my mother.
She was fiercely loyal, amazingly creative, and undoubtedly one of the funniest people I've ever known, but above all of this, she was a loving, dedicated mother, wife, sister, and friend.
Due to the nature of her illness, Mom, as I knew her, has been gone for a while, but the strength and comfort I continued to gain just being in her presence is a testament to the power of her spirit and what she meant to me.
There will never be another soul on Earth just like her, but she has given me a blueprint to follow and I will strive to be a mother, daughter, and friend just like her.
