Obituary of William Nyhan

William Edward Nyhan "Bill", age 48, died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Monday, March 19, 2007. Born in Boston, MA, he lived in Ramsey for the past fourteen years. William earned his B.A. from Fairfield University, Fairfield, CT in 1981 He was a banking executive with Bank of America in Glen Rock. He was a parishioner of St. Paul's R.C. Church, Ramsey and enjoyed spending his personal time running and coaching Ramsey youth sports. He is survived by his beloved wife Catherine (nee Curley) to whom he was married for 25 wonderful years and his two dear sons Sean and Gregory. He is also survived by his mother Nancy Nyhan of Cambridge, MA, his father John Nyhan of New Hampshire and, his two brothers and two sisters, John Nyhan of Alexandria, VA, Beth Nyhan Santos of Melrose, MA, Maura Skelly of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Paul Nyhan of Seattle WA, and his many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff. A funeral mass will take place on Friday, 10:00 AM at St. Paul's R.C. Church, 200 Wyckoff Ave., Ramsey followed by interment at Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes.
