Obituary of Henry Ruitenberg

RUITENBERG, Henry, Jr. age 79 died peacefully on Monday, January 22, 2007 at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. Henry was born in Prospect Park on November 27, 1927. He lived in Midland Park for the past 46 years. Henry was Sales Manager for MacHugh Inc., a retail clothier in Ridgewood for 47 years. Surviving is his loving wife of 52 years, Rose (nee Scordato), his children, David Ruitenberg and his wife Dawn of Kennebunk, ME, and Grace and her husband Fred Parkinson of Virginia Beach, VA, and four grandchildren. Henry also leaves his brothers and sisters, John and Alco Ruitenberg, Belle Tanis, and Ethel Vander Werf. Funeral services will be held Friday 9:30 am from the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff. Interment will follow at the Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa. Visiting is Thursday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
