I was saddened to learn of Henry's passing. Though we have not been in touch recently, I shall remember him fondly. We were neighbors in Prospect Park and his mother and mine were the closest of friends forever. I hope my condolences will bring you some solace. I lost my beloved husband last year and know what you must be going through. Please know you and your family are in my prayers. God bless. Edna

Dear Rose and family, I am a former classmate of Henry and wish to extend my heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. I used to live in Ridgewood and occasionally during a shopping tour I would either bump into Henry along the street or see him in MacHugh's although I couldn't buy much there since our budget was tight. He was such a gentlemen and a pleasure to chat with and each time there was a reunion I would hope to see him. Well he did attend our 60th and he happened to sit at our table so I finally got my wish and enjoyed chatting with him. I happened to be on the committee for that reunion and did put a little note on the notice in the hopes he would attend. Henry was on of the first fellows I met in HHS and we sat alphabetically in homeroom so I sat near him! We used to attend Bibletown in Boca Raton, FL and I know your parents the Scordato's and always thought maybe I would find Henry visiting the in-laws. It was a shock to read his obituary. I am sure he will be missed by everyone who knew him and especially you and the children. Sincerely, Bea (Streelman) Belanus
