I am sending my love and prayers to all of Jim's family and friends. He loved and cared about you all so very much. He always told us wonderful fun stories about all of you. He was so proud of you all. Jim was a very special person to me. He convinced me to take a job at Stony Lane as Library Clerk, which I was not interested in, and then he made me love the job, the school and him. He was a man who was kind and gentle to everyone he met. Jim had a special way of dealing with people that always made them want to do the very best job they could so they wouldn’t disappoint him. He cared about everyone he met. He was a great influence on my life and I will miss him very much. I am in Florida for the winter so I will not be able to be with you to give him a last goodbye, but I know God will take him to heaven to be with Dora and his loved ones who have passed on to a better place. May God bless him and all of you at this sad time in your lives.

Mr. Wollenberg was my principal at Stony Lane from 1968-1976. I always felt he loved the school and the kids. I have such wonderful school memories of Stony Lane and the spirit that was there. Undoubtedly, he was a big influence on why going to that school was such a fantastic experience for me...thank you Mr. Wollenberg! I send blessings to your family, friends, and former colleagues.

I'm very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Wollenberg. He was my principal when I went to Stony Lane from 3rd to 6th grade(1967-1971). He was a fine man.
