Obituary of Carola Tulner

TULNER, Carola (nee Faner) age 98 of Wyckoff formerly of Midland Park, died peacefully on Friday, April 25, 2008. Carola was born in Hoboken, NJ on June 4, 1909. She was a long time resident of Midland Park and attended the Faith Reformed Church in Midland Park. Carola will be sadly missed and fondly remembered. Surviving are her devoted children, Charles Tulner of Wyckoff, and Catherine Blom of Kissimmee, FL. Carola also leaves her grandchildren Jeff and Kim Tulner, Debbie and Leon Kozlowski and Linda and Jim McGregor, and her adoring great grandchildren Sean, Kyle, Lindsay, Chelsea, LJ and Megan. Mrs. Tulner was pre-deceased by her husband August Tulner in 1978 and her brothers, Warren Faner in 2007 and Leonard Faner who was killed in action during World War II. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 10:00 am at the Olthuis Funeral Home, 159 Godwin Avenue, Midland Park. Interment will follow in the George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Visiting is Monday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Valley Hospice, 15 Essex Road, Paramus, NJ 07652.
