Obituary of John Englishmen

John Englishmen Sr. age 87 of Spray Beach, Long Beach Island, died Thursday, April 17, 2008. Born in Midland Park, he lived in Oradell for many years before moving to Spray Beach. John was a Meat Merchandiser for Grand Union CO. Elmwood Park for 35 years before his retirement in 1984. He was a WW II Army Air Corp veteran. John was a member of the Ocean Community Church, Manahawkin, NJ and the served as past president of the Spray Beach Chapel, Spray Beach, NJ. He also was a member of the Spray Beach Yacht Club, Spray Beach, NJ. Surviving is his son, John Jr. and his wife Bernice Englishmen of Park Ridge, his grandchildren, John A. and Ellen M. Englishmen of Park Ridge and his sister �"in- law, IVA Englishmen of Lacey Township, NJ. He was predeceased by is wife Margaret (nee VanPernis) Englishmen in 1995. Visiting Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Private Interment will be held.
