Obituary of Mary Ross

ROSS, Mary Grace (nee Decker), age 88, died peacefully on Thursday, April 3, 2008. Born and raised in Hoboken, she also lived in Lodi and Edison before moving to Midland Park in 1997. Mary was a homemaker and a faithful parishioner of St. Elizabeth's R.C. Church of Wyckoff where she was a member of the Rosary Society. Earlier in her life she taught CCD classes for many years at St. Francis de Sales in Lodi. She was also a former RCIA sponsor at the Cathedral of St. Francis in Metuchen. She is survived by her dear daughter Cathy and her husband David Lubliner of Wyckoff, her two dear granddaughters Amy and Lindsay Lubliner and her precious little great grandson Zachary Lubliner. She is also survived by her sister Rita Gilberti of Union City. She was also "Aunt Mamie" to many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased in 1986 by her beloved husband Robert to whom she was married for 37 wonderful years. She was predeceased also by her sisters Catherine Decker, Helen Bassi, Margaret Faust and Loretta Pesciotta and by her brothers John, Francis, and Joe Decker. Friends may visit the family on Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. Prayers,Tuesday, 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass 10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth's R.C. Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave. Wyckoff. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway.
