Obituary of Alfred W. Silberbauer

Silberbauer, Alfred W. age 89 of Dumont died Friday, March 21, 2008. Born in New Milford, he lived in Dumont for 50 years, Toms River for 10 years and most recently in Allendale. Alfred was an Electrical Technician for Bendix Corp. Teteboro for 25 years before his retirement. He was a WW II Army Air Corp veteran. He was a former member of American Legion Post 40 of Ridgefield Park and theVFW Post. Surviving is his wife of 66 years, Dorothy M.(neeVanderbeek) Silberbauer of Allendale, his son Gary L. and his wife MaryAnn Silberbauer of Franklin Lakes, his sister, Althea Lethbridge of Wantage, NJ. Also surviving are his three grandchildren, Noelle, Christian and Pia. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ.
