From Fairmont to early college days, we were the best of friends until many of us moved on. I through several states before my return, and lost contact. We began with endless parties and dancing in the basement of Ross Ave. Of course, the folk era would have been incomplete without our entusiastic singing at parties, kept on tune by Laura, Judy and most likely Diane on the guitar. And OH! the many pj parties with secrets shared, incredible antics and total lack of sleep. We had so many opportunities to make memories long before technology became a part of the social scene. When this notice was brought to me by a friend today... the smile was immediately recognizeable. I can only imagine that her music and singing are timeless, memorable and will live on in recordings which are surely uplifting and a reminder to be positive regardless of your grief. Perhaps I'll have a chance to hear some of them. But catching up would have been so much more fun! I hope to attend any memorial service you choose to have for her.
