Obituary of Mark J. Mitchell

Mitchell, Mark J. age 50 of Wyckoff passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 18, 2008. Born in Syracuse, New York he grew up in Rochester, NY before coming to Wyckoff 21 years ago. He was a graduate of Greece Olympia High School in Rochester, NY and was a graduate of LeMoyne University, Syracuse and Pace University, NY, NY where he earned his MBA degree. His professional career was in business, finance and financial planning. He worked at Ayco Co., Parsippany, NJ for the last seven years as a financial advisor. Mark was married for 24 years to Maryanne (nee Bogush) Mitchell whom he always referred to as the "love of his life". Mark and Maryanne were blessed with three beautiful children, Megan, Ryan and Kelly. He is also survived by his two brothers, Joe and Michael as well as a large extended family. Mark was an avid sports enthusiast and always cherished his role as a husband and father. He was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Jean (nee McGuire) Mitchell and his sister, Theresa Mitchell. Visiting Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral Mass Tuesday 10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth's R.C. Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave. Wyckoff, NJ.
