Obituary of Rose Cascone

Rose Cascone (nee Wercholuk), age 86, died peacefully on Sunday, July 22, 2007. Born in New York, NY, she lived in Paterson most of her life before moving to Siena Village, Wayne. Rose was a retired seamstress and a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. She was also a member of the Veteran's of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. While living in Paterson, Rose was an active parishioner of St. Anthony's Church. She is survived by her loving daughter Judy Fitzmaurice and husband Bruce of Wyckoff, her daughter-in-law Nancy Cascone of Long Island, her four grandchildren; Jason, David, Denise and Kelly, and her five great-grandsons; Malique, Benjamin, Shane, Jake, and Andrew. She was predeceased by her beloved husband William and her son William, Jr. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. Funeral Prayers will take place, Thursday, 9:15 AM at the funeral home followed by a mass of Christian burial, 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth's R.C. Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff.
