Betty was on my team and taught next door to me as I entered teaching as a 21 year old. She made me feel so welcome and instilled in me her love of teaching. It's wonderful that she could live such a long, fulfilling life.

I remember Miss Fry from Jr High School. Feisty yes. I remember a time we were discussing plurals and I suggested ""deers. She was not happy and I remember storming up to her desk with the dictionary showing it could be deer" or "deers". (Spell check is highlighting "deers"!) She refused to accept my answer! I don't think when I was young I really appreaciated teachers. Sounds like she had a wonderful life. Her picture is beautiful. Bless her.
