My family and I are heartbroken and we offer our sincerest condolences to the Jenski family. My twin brother and I were in Eric's class at St. E's and then my four children had the fortune of being Pat's students. She was a great teacher who cared deeply and her students loved her. She had endless energy and a kind spirit. Her elaborate Halloween costumes and Kindergarten graduations evoked thousands of smiles and tears. She loved catching me up on her sons and grandchildren, and she beamed with pride when she spoke of you. She and Al were a devoted, loving couple who could always be found in the front row at mass. Pat was a hard working faith filled servant of God who led by example. I hope knowing how many lives she touched will help ease a little of your pain. Pat was a gem to the SES community and will be dearly missed.

Pat had an impact on everyone during her life. She touched so many people spiritually and teaching. Looking at the family pictures online you can see how special and important her family was. I am so sorry. Glad there is an online mass to allow an opportunity to attend.

Both Pat and I started at St. Elizabeth School in the summer of 1982. When I first saw her she was in a tiny tennis skirt, and I thought she was one of the Real Housewives of New Jersey. We laughed over that so many times. Since that first meeting we shared so many memories through the years - the first one being Alex not wanting to come to school. Following we celebrated many milestones of our children - their weddings, our grandchildren and the list goes on and on. Along the way she and I were honored together for our years at St. E's. Some topics we discussed were Chris becoming a doctor, Eric always having babies ( 6 and counting) and her Alex (my baby). Pat did confide in me privately and asked for prayers when she was waiting for test results. So on the most recent occasion I went to the 7am mass and she said why are you here. I said for you, so when they asked for personal petitions I shouted out her name (something I never did before). She turned around from her first row pew and gave me such a glare. When Fr. Stephen processed out of mass he looked at me in shock so I thought this could be the end of our long friendship but all of us laughed when we got to the Narthex. So Pat Pat I am still praying for you and Al at this very sorrowful time. Carol Palmieri

Our deepest sympathy to you, Alex, and your family. Remembering the fun we had in the '90s at the St. Elizabeth events, especially the ones put on by the Hospitality committee. We remember the weekends going out dancing with you, Pat, the Fucile's and Fitzsimmon at Gabriel's. We danced the night away. They are happy memories. Now Patricia rests in the arms of Our Savior. May the Peace of Christ bring comfort to you, your sons and their families.

My first memory of Pat was at Kindergarten orientation for my daughter’s class ,back in 1991. All of the moms were so nervous and she answered our questions calmly and with humor . I remember her winning smile , curly hair and sweet laugh. She glowed whenever she spoke about teaching the students to get to know Jesus . It was as important to her as the alphabet. My two boys had the fortune of learning from Pat, as well . I remember how she practiced for their graduation ceremonies , and how she didn’t give up until everyone knew the words to”He’s got the whole world in His hands”. Alex sat proudly on the front row, silently cheering on the love of his life . Years later, I had the honor of teaching at St. Elizabeth School and shared 15 years with her. We traded our stories of being Nonnas . She was so proud of her boys, her daughters- in - law , and her beautiful grand children . For Pat, it was all about God and family . She was an example to all of us . Her last song at Kindergarten graduation was always “Friends are like flowers “. Pat , you were the most beautiful friend . I will miss you . God bless your family and may your memory live in their hearts forever .
