Obituary of Jacqueline B. Bowns

Jacqueline Bowman Bowns passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 after a long illness. She was the widow of David J. Bowns (1968). She was a Broker-Associate with Prominent Properties in Saddle River, NJ. Jacqueline's professional real estate career spanned 37 years. She was an avid horse enthusiast of 41 years in several disciplines. Surviving are her 3 children and their spouses including, Michelle E. Bowns; Matthew D. Bowns and Carol Bowns; and Christine Shannon-Ferretti and Greg Ferretti. Jacqueline's siblings include Roland H. Bowman and the late Danielle J. Ackerman (2016). Her 6 loving grandchildren include Melissa (and husband Scott); Joshua (and fiancée Aaliyah); Sarah; David; Grant and Jill; and 3 great grandchildren. The receiving of family and friends will be held at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ 07481 on Saturday, July 18, 2020 from 2:00-5:30 pm. A Memorial Service will commence at 5:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jacqueline’s memory may be made to Allendale Ambulance Corp, Inc., P.O.
