Obituary of Elaine Arnone

Elaine Arnone, age 88 of Mahwah, NJ died Friday, June 12, 2020 at Arbor Ridge Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, Wayne, NJ. Elaine was born in Garfield, NJ and had resided in Ridgewood, NJ before moving to Mahwah, NJ in 1990. Following 32 years of service at The Park Ridge Marriott, Park Ridge, NJ, Elaine retired serving in the position of catering manager. Elaine was predeceased by her husband, Michael in 1968 and her two sons, Bruce Arnone in 1973 and Michael Arnone in 2011. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Karen Arnone of Franklin Lakes, NJ, her two granddaughters, Lindsay Arnone of Philadelphia, PA and Megan Arnone of Franklin Lakes, NJ, her sister, Theresa Borsh-Haker of Hartly, DE and a cousin, Stephanie Marin. The family’s wish is to hold a Celebration of Life service at a later date, once more restrictions are lifted due to Covid 19. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Elaine’s memory may be made to the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, 2 Shelter Lane, Oakland, NJ 07436.
