Obituary of Constantina Carberry

Constantina (Dina) Carberry resident of Montvale, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2020 at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ. A private service for family will be held this Sunday May 10, 2020 at Vander Plaat Funeral Home in Wyckoff, New Jersey. Constantina was born in 1943 in Athens, Greece to Panagiotis and Penelope, and was the sister to Maria Aivasilioti and Evangelia Kaloumenos. She married Edward Thomas Carberry on June 5, 1965 before moving to the United States and having daughters Constance & Christine. She was a devoted daughter in law to the late Edward and Regina Carberry, sister in law to Paul, Ginny, Mary Jean, and Carolyn, and mother in law to George & Michael. Her life was fulfilling to say she had the gift of raising her grandchildren Thomas & Constantina as well as her nieces and nephew David, Alice and Vera. Her life will be remembered by the love and happiness she spread, and the family vacations spent in her summer home in Greece. Her family paid this tribute to her ‘Dina was one of the kindest people you could ever meet. She opened her heart and home to many family members over the years. She will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.’ She is survived by her husband Edward, daughters Connie & Christine, sisters Maria & Evangelia and grandchildren Thomas & Tina.
