Aunt Jeanetta - I will always remember you. I have many happy memories of you and Uncle Sam. One of my most meaningful memories though is how you took care of Uncle Sam through his kidney crisis. You were trained so you could conduct his kidney dialysis at home. Being a nurse, I was so impressed that you would take this on without any medical training prior. It was quite a complex routine, but you shone through it all. You shared with me that you always wanted to be a nurse. Well, in my eyes, you were a nurse and a great one at that to Uncle Sam! What you gave Uncle Sam - such joy during those times. I remember he could eat anything when he was on dialysis and he would have such a big smile eating whatever he wanted during those times! You gave him such a gift! I will always remember that!
Thank you for singing at my wedding. Even though life took me far away from you, we were able to see you each time we came to NJ. Two years ago, you didn't recognize my sister nor I, and we were saddened. I smile today as I think of you rejoined with Uncle Sam + your parents, but most of all getting to meet the Lord and basking in His Presence!

Dear Jeanetta: We have shared many years together as friends. My parents joined First Reformed Church in 1955 when I was two years old. When I was five years old you were my kindergarten Sunday School teacher, that was 62 years ago. When Lois and I went to the Midland Park Township offices to get our marriage license you were the township clerk that gave us our marriage license. Fast forward Lois and I relocated to Michigan and when my mother in law went into the Holland Home you were her neighbor and our friendship was rekindled. Five years later you and my mother in law became roommates at Mountain View in the Holland Home. I always kept you in good supply of dark chocolate which I know you loved. You were always very kind and sweet to me and I always enjoyed talking to you. You had a good life and never complained at least not to me. You are now enjoying what we all as believers are waiting for, Heaven. Rest in peace Jeanetta, until we meet again.
With love,
David and Lois Schilstra

Dearest Jeanetta, you were my mom's best friend. I have many pictures of you both. When I would come to your house. we would talk for long time. You sang at my parents wedding & it was recorded. I used it at my wedding. You always meant a lot to me. I will miss you. Love, Mary
