My condolences to the Spencer family. Whenever we'd go back east to visit my mother we would meet up with Mrs. Spencer for lunch. Mrs Spencer and my mother, Esther, were great friends unless they were playing cards. Back in the day, our family and the Spencer family were often at the same get togethers which sometimes got a little lively. I remember at one of the gatherings Mr Zeldenrust accidentally hit Mrs Spencer with a snowball and the chase was on. Charlotte was fearless and a lot of fun to be around, even from when I was a little kid. We will miss her a lot.
