Obituary of Rose Caporuscio

Rose Caporuscio passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at the age of 84. Born in Queens, New York she was a longtime resident of Upper Saddle River. Rose began working in 1986 for the Borough of Upper Saddle River where she worked her way up to her current title of the Borough Clerk.  A devoted mother and grandma she loved to cook, spend time with her family and attend all of her grandchildren’s activities. She is predeceased by her husband John Caporuscio (1986). Rose is survived by her son John G. Caporuscio, his wife Philippa; three daughters:  Diane Johnson, her companion Cory Gray; Teresa A. Chronopolous, her husband Tom; Christine S. Greco, her husband Dan; 16 Grandchildren, two great grandchildren and her beloved sister Lorraine Palumbo.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 4:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. The committal service will be held on Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah.  Contributions in Rose’s memory may be made to the Upper Saddle River Volunteer Ambulance Corps., 378 W Saddle River Rd, Upper Saddle River, NJ 07458 or to the St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O.
