Obituary of Michael Mackey

Michael Mackey, 23, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2019.  Born in Baltimore, MD he lived in Oakland, NJ.  Michael graduated from Saddle River Day School and then from Don Bosco Prep High School. 

He is survived by his parents Timothy and Mary Beth Mackey of Oakland, his siblings Christopher and Katie, his grandparents James and Dorothy Mackey of Orleans, MA and Charles Broring of Kensington, MD.  He was predeceased by his grandmother Shirley Broring.

The family will receive friends 1 – 3 and 6 - 8 pm on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. 

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:00am on Monday at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 787 Franklin Lakes Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417.
