Obituary of Carl Samol

Carl Samol, age 65, died unexpectedly on Friday, May 3, 2019 at his residence.  Carl was born in Englewood, grew up in Ft. Lee and had been a resident of New York, NY for the past 40 years.  Prior to his retirement four years ago, he was an architectural designer for St. Charles of New York, Manhattan, NY.  Carl is survived by his mother, Ann Samol, his sister, Joan Pinelli both of Mahwah and his brother, Gregory Samol of Ringwood.  Also surviving are his nieces and nephews; Lisa Cornelius, Barbara Roseboom, Gregory Mansfield, Crystal Potter, Alex Pinelli, Kyle Pinelli and several great nieces and nephews.  Carl was predeceased by his father, Carl Samol and his sister, Carolyn Samol.  A private cremation will be held.  Arrangements are the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ 07481.
