Obituary of William Brown

William E. Brown, age 87, died peacefully on Friday, November 9, 2007. Born in Newburgh, NY, he lived in Oakland. Bill was a supervisor with NY Telephone Company. He served his country during World War II in the 82nd Airborne Division, United States Army. He is survived by his two sons; Douglas J. of Wyckoff and Jack W. of Suffern, NY, and his four granddaughters; Pamela, Danielle, Nicole and Alexis. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret (nee Malkomas) in 2001. Visiting will be on Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ 07481. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, 11:00 AM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings on Hudson, NY.
