Obituary of Madonna D. Dorsa

Madonna D. Dorsa, age 82 of Mahwah, died Wednesday, January 9, 2019 with her loving family by her side.  She was born in North Arlington and had been a long time resident of Mahwah.  Madonna was a parishioner of St. Paul’s RC Church, Ramsey, and prior to her retirement, she was a teacher for the Mahwah Board of Education.  Madonna is survived by her five loving and dedicated children; Madonna Malinowski and her husband, Robert of Delaware City, DE, Vincent Dorsa and his wife, Anna of Glendale, AZ, Suzanne Dorsa of Mahwah, NJ, Sean Dorsa and his wife, Karen of Oakland, NJ and Brendan Dorsa and his wife, Kimm of Bethlehem, PA and her dear sister, Michele Deegan Brady of Bernardsville, NJ.  She is also survived by Vincent W. Dorsa, Sr. Madonna also leaves seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren to carry on her legacy. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 1-4 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ 07481. A Funeral Mass for Madonna will be held on Monday, January 14, 2018, 10:30 AM at St. Paul’s RC Church, 200 Wyckoff Avenue, Ramsey, NJ 07446.  A private cremation will be held.  Madonna was a caring and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, always giving her very best for others.  As she always said, “You’ll get a flower in your heart” for every good deed, so Madonna entered heaven with a very large bouquet in her heart!
