Obituary of June E. Reitmeier

June E. Reitmeier passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the age of 97. She was born in Passaic and raised in Clifton.  After marriage, she resided in Wyckoff then later in Ridgewood for over 50 years. Recently she was a resident of Brandywine Senior Living in Mahwah. Before retiring, June was a Data Specialist at Curtiss-Wright Corporation in Fair Lawn. She was an avid member of the Presbyterian Church in Ridgewood and an active member of the Ridgewood Women’s Club where she was the longest term member. June is predeceased by her husband Rudolph “Rudy” Reitmeier and her sister-in-law Patricia Emerson. June is survived by her son Glenn E. Reitmeier, her brother Daniel E. Emerson, nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral service for June will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ 07481. The interment will follow at George Washing Memorial Park in Paramus.
