Obituary of Vlad Geiger

Theodore “Vlad” Geiger passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018 in Palm Beach County, Florida, at the age of 20. Born in Kazakhstan, Central Asia, he was a resident of Glen Rock and graduated from Glen Rock High School in 2017. Vlad was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Glen Rock.  He enjoyed the beach, surfing, and spending summer vacations on Nantucket. Vlad was a kind hearted young man who loved music, sports, spending time with his friends, and video games. Vlad is survived by his loving parents Michael and Laurie Geiger; two cherished younger brothers: Yuri and Ruslan; maternal grandfather Theodore Jadick; many cousins, aunts and uncles; the family dogs, Billie and Daisy and turtle, Franklin. Vlad is predeceased by his maternal grandmother Anne Jadick; and paternal grandparents: Howard and Joan Geiger. Mike and Laurie will receive family and friends on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. Vlad’s memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in All Saints Episcopal Church, 40 Central Ave., Glen Rock, NJ 07452.
