Obituary of Carolyn Landi

Landi, Carolyn, 90, of East Stroudsburg, PA, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018.  Born in Paterson, NJ, the daughter of the late Edwin Percy Harned and Martha Waibel Harned, Carolyn lived in Wyckoff, NJ before moving to Bushkill /East Stroudsburg, PA  area 15 years ago.

Carolyn served the Township of Wyckoff for 26 years and retired as the Tax Assessor. 

She was a former member of the Wyckoff Reformed Church and most recently, the Bushkill Reformed Church. 

Carolyn enjoyed playing cards and was a member of the American Contract Bridge League.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Joseph, her beloved children: Susan and her late husband John Clair of Oakland, NJ, Joseph E and his wife Audrey of Hanover, PA; Barbara and her husband, Nick Gullone of Denton, TX and 4 caring grandchildren and 5 adoring great-grandchildren.  Carolyn was predeceased by her brother E. P. Harned Jr.

Visiting hours for Carolyn’s family will be on  Tuesday, November 6, 4 - 7 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home,  www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. 

A Funeral Service will be Wednesday,  November 7 at 11:00 am at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at the Laurel Grove Memorial Park Cemetery in Totowa.

Carolyn supported many organizations and the family asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in her memory to a special organization.
