Obituary of Marie Putignano

Marie Putignano passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the age of 89. Born in Lodi, she was a resident of Franklin Lakes. Before retiring, Marie was a Secretary at the Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company in Montvale. She was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth’s Church in Wyckoff and a former member of the Franklin Lakes Seniors. She is predeceased by her beloved husband William J. Putignano; beloved sister Ninfa Albanese; and two beloved brothers Frank Pless and Joseph Pless. Marie is survived by her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff. Interment will follow at Christ the King Cemetery in Franklin Lakes.
