Obituary of Everett Koetseer

KOETSEER, Everett age 99, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. Everett was born in Paterson on November 14, 1907. He lived in Midland Park before moving to Wyckoff 47 years ago. In 1969 Everett retired as Assistant Postmaster for the Ridgewood Post Office after 28 years of service. He was a former member of the Upper Ridgewood Tennis Club, and was a member of the Dawn Bible Association. Surviving are his devoted daughters, Nancy Russell and her husband Vincent of Wyckoff, and Evelyn Henderson of Midland Park. Everett also leaves his six grandchildren, Sharon Weite and her husband Ken, John Henderson and his wife Ginny, Glenn Henderson and his wife Diane , Vincent E. Russell and his wife Barbara, Everett Henderson, and Kathleen Chirkis and her husband Robert, and fifteen great grandchildren. Everett was pre-deceased by his wife Hilda (nee Osterholt) in 1993, and his son-in-law Glenn R. Henderson in 1974. Funeral services will be held Friday, 10:00 am from the Olthuis Funeral Home (www.olthuisfuneralhome.com), 159 Godwin Avenue, Midland Park. Interment will follow in the George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Visiting is Thursday 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
