Obituary of Maureen E. Kopczynski

Maureen E. Kopczynski passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the age of 54. Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was a resident of Ramsey, NJ. Maureen was a Senior Research Analyst at IPSOS America, Inc. in Mahwah, a parishioner of St. Paul’s Church in Ramsey, enjoyed vacationing with her family at Long Beach Island, was actively involved as a Hotspur coach and a longtime boys and girls basketball score keeper at Mahwah High School. Maureen is survived by her loving husband of 24 years Joe, two cherished sons: Brian J. and Sean W.; two sisters: Mary Beth Vatcher, her husband Jon, and Jacqueline E. Sinnott-Shaffer and her husband Timothy. Maureen is also survived by a large and loving family who will miss her dearly including her father and mother-in-law Donald and Eileen Kopczynski, many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Receiving of friends will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 6, 2018 at St. Paul’s Church, 200 Wyckoff Ave., Ramsey, NJ at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Maryrest Mausoleum in Mahwah.
