Obituary of Kathleen Venema

Kathleen Venema, age 86 of Key Largo, FL died Friday, July 20, 2018 at The Valley Hospital, Ridgewood.  She was born in Paterson and had been a resident of Sparta and Wyckoff until recently spending her time between Key Largo, FL and Mahwah.  Kathleen dedicated her time to raising her five children and when she had the time she lent a hand to her husband at his business, Venema Associates.  Kathleen was predeceased by her husband, William Venema in 2001. She is survived by her five children; William Gregory “Greg” (Barbara) Venema of Ormond Beach, FL, Jeffrey W. Venema of Pompton Lakes, NJ, Michael W. (Randi) Venema of North Haledon, NJ, Michelle Venema of Mahwah, NJ and Lynelle (Marc) Eisenberg of Boca Raton, FL and her six grandchildren; Grace, Anne, Kimberly, Daniel, Matthew and Jessica. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 3:00 – 6:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ 07481. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 23, 2018, 10:00 AM, at the funeral home followed by the interment in Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Fair Lawn.
