Obituary of Evan R. Beynon

Beynon, Evan Robert “Bunkie”, of Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, July 18th, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.  He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 55 years, Eileen Cathryn, his adored daughters, Amy Smith and her husband, Tom, and Jennifer Sansone and her husband, Bob, and his 5 beloved grandchildren – Molly, Connor & Maggie Smith, and Kyle & Tyler Sansone. He is also survived by his sister Jean Lilian Foster, her husband Andy, and their 3 children, David, John & Ann.  Evan proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.  Prior to retiring, Evan worked as a Finance Officer for JP Morgan Chase. He was a member of the Ho-Ho-Kus Community Church where he was as an elder and deacon and was an active member of the Ho-Ho-Kus VFW and The Waldwick Gun & Pistol Club. He was an avid NY Giants and Yankees fan and was even more passionate watching and supporting his 5 grandchildren in the various sports they played.  His family was his greatest pride and joy and he cherished the time spent with them. Bunkie will always be in their hearts.   A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 23rd at 11am at The Ho-Ho-Kus Community Church, 400 Warren Avenue, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ 07423.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Evan’s memory can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
