Obituary of Steven D. Oesterle

Steven D. Oesterle, 66, of Wyckoff, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018.  Born in Englewood, he lived in Wyckoff his entire life.

Steve co-owned East West Auto Repair in Fair Lawn with Pete Stern from 1988 to 2016.  He was a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics, the American Motorcycle Association, and the Sports Car Club of America.

He is survived by his wife Karen, his son George, several favorite sisters-in-law, mother-in-law Marian, and numerous nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

He was predeceased by his father Dolph in 2006 and his mother Ruth in 2017.

A memorial service will be celebrated at 4:00 pm on Thursday, Aug. 9, 2018 at the All Saints Episcopal Church, 40 Central Ave, Glen Rock, NJ 07452.  Arrangements by the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com.
