Obituary of Erika E. Lahr

Lahr, Erika E. (nee. Boehme) age 91 of Mahwah passed away February 20, 2018.  Born in Dresden, Germany she came to the United States in 1949.  Erika was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Erika is survived by her three sons: David and his wife Gisele of Montpelier, VT; Steven and his wife Wanda of Pittsburgh, PA; and Mark and his wife Irene of Mahwah, NJ.  Also surviving is her sister Thea Boehme of Walpole, MA and her six grandchildren: Erik and his wife Stephanie, Jennifer and her husband Zachary, Ashley, Joshua, Damon, and Nicholas and two great grandchildren, Alexander and Samuel, as well as her nephews Michael and Daniel Kaufmann.  She was predeceased by her husband Daniel Y. Lahr, M.D. in 2014 and her sister, Anita Kaufmann.

A funeral mass will be held March 10, 2018 at 9:45 at Sacred Heart RC Church in Suffern, NY followed by Interment at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ.
