Oh how I wish you were still alive. I wake up everyday trying to act like life is okay, but it's not. It so hard to act like everything's ok when it's really not. I wish I could wake up from this horrible nightmare and for someone to tell me you were just on vacation coming home from your favorite timeshare in Aruba or visiting your son and grand children in North Carolina. I knew you for almost 10 years but it felt like so much more and it pains me to see you go the way you did.
You were so strong, always so strong, and I always admired that about you. You inspired so many people everyday. So many people looked up to you and wanted to grow up to be you. I don't know how it feels to lose a mother and don't wish that on anyone, but I know how it feels to loose someone you love. Someone that was so close to heart and that was a big part of your life. It's awful. It's the worst feeling in the world. It feels like someone just took a big part of you away, out of the blue, feeling lost, and not too sure what to do next. I didn't really get to say goodbye and felt as though this was the only was to do so.
Just know that even though during this time we all feel horrible, she's watching over us, and making sure we are as strong as she was. We gained a guardian angel.
