Teofila Mueller, Harry’s dear wife,
Together they shared joy in life!
They took hard times within their stride,
But they faced all things side by side.
File had a happy heart,
Always glad to do her part.
On her family she showered her love,
Grandkids she welcomed as gifts from above!!
Her friends knew her as a gracious host,
They remember many a New Year’s toast.
The meals she made gave all great pleasure.
Her lovely garden was a treasure.
Though life grew hard in recent years,
She never would submit to fears.
When her body was no longer strong,
In her heart she carried still a song.
In church she’d be on every Lord’s Day,
Hardly anything could keep her away.
Then one Sunday morning, struggling for breath,
God sent her His message with the angel of death:
“Teofila – Loved by the Lord –
Come Home, My Child, to Your Reward.”
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of
his faithful servants. Psalm 116: 17

Dear uncle Harry,
Dear Harry jun., Robert and Karin,
Our deepest sympathies during your time of loss, our thoughts and prayers are with you.
From the times I visited you in New Jersey, I remember very well Teofilas warm hospitality and surely her excellent cooking. I still have to smile when I remember you and File picking me up at the airport. You were always debating the right directions to drive, you said right, she said left and …sorry Uncle Harry…she was always right.
The memory of aunt File will always be alive in us.

Lieber Onkel Harry,
lieber Harry jun., lieber Robert, liebe Karin
mit Familien,
wir möchten unser tiefempfundenes Mitgefühl zum Tode von Tante File aussprechen. Wir fuehlen uns mit euch verbunden und trauern mit euch.
Im April 2015 waren wir bei euch zu Besuch und haben eure Gastfreundschaft und Tante Files Kochkuenste kennen gelernt. Es ist besonders schwer, einen lieben Menschen zu verlieren. So hoffen wir, dass ihr alle schönen Erinnerungen an deine Frau, eure Mutter und Oma im Herzen bewahrt und euch durch Gottes Trost staerken lasst. Die Hoffnung auf ein Wiedersehen ist für uns Christen eine Gewissheit.
