Obituary of Anna Haight

Anna Haight, age 97, formerly of Wyckoff, NJ died Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Country Meadows of Bethlehem, PA.  She was born in Agropoli, Italy and had resided in Wyckoff, NJ and Hancock, NY before moving to Bethlehem, PA in 2009.  Anna was a homemaker who dedicated her time to raising and caring for her family, along with her husband, William F. Haight, who predeceased her on July 18, 2003. Anna was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help RC Church in Bethlehem, PA and St. Patrick’s RC Church in Long Eddy, NY.  She was a former longtime parishioner of St. Elizabeth RC Church, Wyckoff, NJ, where she was a member and past president of the Rosary Society.  She was also a 3rd Order member of St. Francis of Assissi. Anna loved flowers and spent much of her free time as an avid gardener.  Anna is survived by her loving children: Rosann (Richard) Mirch of Hancock, NY, Marjorie (Joseph) Lipari of Wellington, FL, William F. (Mary) Haight of Lavallette, NJ, Nicholas (Marie) Haight of Delray Beach, FL, Carl (Donna) Haight of Oak Ridge, NJ and Ann Marie (Gary) Ball of Nazareth, PA.   Also surviving to carry on Anna’s legacy are her 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and her sister, Rose DeJager of Branford, CT.  In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her sister Angelina Morizzo and her brother, Carmine Latrecchia.  Visitation will be held on Monday, August 14, 2017 from 9:00-10:15 a.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, 11:00 a.m.at St. Elizabeth RC Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff, NJ. Interment will follow in Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to a charity of your choice.
