Obituary of Jeannette Rozema

ROZEMA, Jeannette (nee Baker) “Net” age 89 of North Haledon formerly of Wyckoff died Saturday, August 5, 2017.  Born in Paramus, Net lived most of her life in Wyckoff before moving to North Haledon in 2004. She was a lifelong member of the Cedar Hill Christian Reformed Church. Net was very active in Cedar Hill Church and also volunteered at Ditto in North Haledon and the Holland Christian Home. She is survived by her devoted children; Shirley and Clarence DeBoer of Paw Paw, MI, Linda Ten Kate of Midland Park and Gary and Joan Rozema of Midland Park.  She also leaves seven loving grandchildren Maria (Chris), Dan (Beth), Jeff, Brian (Kelliann), Becky (Ben), Lauren (Darryl), and Gar, 10 Great Grandchildren and her brother, Clarence Baker.  Net was predeceased by her loving husband Garret “Garry” Rozema in 2012 and Grandson Joel DeBoer in 2003.  A memorial service will be held Tuesday August 8, 2017 at 11am at the Cedar Hill Christian Reformed Church, 422 Cedar Hill Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ.  Interment will be private in the George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.  The Rozema family will receive family and friends on Monday 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ.  In lieu of flowers; memorial contributions may be made to the Holland Christian Home Employee Fund, 151 Graham Avenue, North Haledon, NJ  07508 or Valley Hospice, 15 Essex Road, Suite 301, Paramus, NJ 07652.
