Obituary of Luis E. Martinez

Luis E. Martinez was born on May 5th, 1950 to Emilio Martinez and Maria Monserrate Torres. Born in Puerto Rico, he lived most of his life in New York City.  He passed along his love of music to all who knew him, often attended outdoor concerts, and always enjoyed walking around the city he loved.  He was very close with his family and was known lovingly by his nieces and nephews as Uncle Luli.  He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his silly jokes and his political commentary.  He is survived by his daughter, Kathryn, her husband Robert, and his granddaughter Nicole.  He is also survived by his sisters Gladys Crespo, Ana Delgado and Carmen McGuire, and his brother-in-law Aurelio Crespo, along with his many nieces and nephews.  During his life, he was surrounded by those who loved him and he will live on in their hearts and memories always.
