Obituary of George Robinson II

Robinson, George J. II, age 86, of Midland Park, formerly of Hillsdale died Friday, July 13, 2007. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Hillsdale for 54 years before moving to Midland Park almost three years ago. George worked as a Maritime Executive and retired from the International Paints Company in 1985. He was a WW II Navy veteran and was a former member of the Ridgewood Country Club, The Downtown Athletic Club, The Whitehall Club and the Propeller Club. Surviving is his beloved wife of 63 years, Tucky (nee Prial) Robinson of Midland Park, four daughters, Susan King of Upper Montclair, Patsy Michaels of Aiken, SC, Marylou Robinson of Birchrunville, PA and Jody Fargo of Murphy, TX. His son, George J. Robinson III of Plano, TX. His sisters, Virginia Gladwell of Florida and Sr. Mary Borgia of New York. Also survivivng are his ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral Mass Wednesday 11a.m. at St. Cassian R.C.
