Obituary of Richard Draper

Richard W. Draper, Sr., age 68, died on Monday, June 4, 2007. Born in Hackensack, he lived in Waldwick for 30 years before moving to Mahwah and then Toms River eight years ago. Richard was a manager with the United States Postal Service where he worked for 35 years before retiring in 1992. He is survived by his beloved wife Joan (nee Sapochak) to whom he was married for 45 years and his daughter Jill Draper of Toms River. He is also survived by his brother Harold of New Hampshire, his sister Paricia D'Ercole of Goshen, NY, his sister Mary Brant of Lakehurst, and his brother Thomas Chicino of Brick. He was predeceased by his loving son Richard W., Jr. in 1988. Friends may visit on Saturday, 11:00 AM to 12:30 at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. A service will follow, 12:30 at the funeral home. Interment, George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Richard W.
