Obituary of Edwin Hogan

HOGAN, Edwin G. Sr., age 74, died peacefully on Monday, May 21, 2007 at the Christian Health Care Center in Wyckoff. Ed was born in Piermont, NY on November 30, 1932. He was a resident of Midland Park for the past 10 years. Ed was the owner and cook of Hogan's Restaurant in the Wortendyk section of Midland Park for the past 27 years. Prior to owning his own business Ed worked at Pal's Diner in Mahwah. He served his country during the Korean Conflict as a paratrooper in the United States Army. Surviving is his loving wife of 52 years, Dorothy M.( nee Frey), his devoted children, Terrance P. Hogan and his wife Kathy of Punta Gorta, FL, Karen Hogan, and Kelly and her husband Scott Pankow all of Wyckoff, and Edwin G. Hogan, Jr. and his wife Linda of Sparta, NJ. Ed also leaves his adoring grandchildren, Serena, Hayley, Scotty, Jesse, Michael, Sean, and Thomas, and his brother George Hogan of Stoney Point, NY. Funeral services will be held Friday 10:30 am at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. Interment will follow at the Rockland Cemetery in Sparkhill, NY. Visiting is Thursday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
