Obituary of Margaret O'Shea

Margaret Mary "Peggy" O'Shea (nee McGovern), age 78, died peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren, on Friday, April 27, 2007. Born in New York City, she lived in Glen Rock for the past 53 years. Margaret was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a parishioner of St. Catharine's R.C. Church of Glen Rock. Peggy unselfishly raised five children and fifteen grandchildren who adored and cherished her. She will always be remembered for her commitment to her family. Her sense of humor, sparkling blue eyes and warm smile will be greatly missed. Peggy is survived by her five loving children; Eileen Theriault and husband Adrien of Westport, CT, Timothy, Jr. and wife Corrine of Hopkinton, MA, Kathleen O'Shea-Lauber and husband Dave of Wilton, CT, Robert and wife Michele of Wyckoff and Michael and wife Tina of Wyckoff. She is also survived by her 15 dear grandchildren and her sister Eileen Greene of Long Island, NY. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Timothy, Sr., to whom she was married for 43 wonderful years, in 1995. Friends may visit the family on Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM and Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff. A funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, 10:00 AM at St. Catharine's R.C. Church 905 Maple Ave., Glen Rock. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
