Obituary of Maribeth Hamblen
HAMBLEN, Maribeth (nee SCHUTT) age48, died peacefully on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. Maribeth was born in Paterson on April 30, 1958. She was a long time resident of Wyckoff before moving to Mahwah 18 years ago. Maribeth attended Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI, F.I.T. in New York City and Graduated from Montclair State University in 1981. Maribeth owned D & D Silk Floral and Foliage in Hackensack. She was a member of the Westside Presbyterian Church in Ridgewood, the Heritage Quilters, and the National Association of Miniaturists. Surviving is her loving husband of 24 years, Clifford M. Hamblen, her mother Claire J. Schutt of Pompton Plains, her brothers Eric of Burlington, NC, and Andrew of Denville, and her sister Yvonne of Ridgewood. Maribeth also leaves her nieces and nephews, Aubree, Sarah, Ian, Aidan, Kieran, Chelsea, Matthew, Olivia, and James. Maribeth was pre-deceased by her father George W. Schutt in 1994. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10:00 am in the Chapel of Westside Presbyterian Church, 6 South Monroe Street, Ridgewood. Interment will follow in the Westwood Cemetery. Visiting is Tuesday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff.
