Obituary of Edith Blauvelt

BLAUVELT, Edith A. (nee Holmes) age 96 died peacefully on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at the Ridgewood Center. Edith was born in New York City on January 10, 1911. She lived in Crestwood Village in Whiting, NJ before moving to Midland Park four years ago. Surviving are her devoted daughters, Marion Praschil of Kingman, AZ, Doris Burns of Crestwood Village, Whiting, NJ, Ruth Sedlock of Lyndhurst, and Shirley Worth of Midland Park. Edith also leaves thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her husband Raymond Blauvelt in 1975. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 10:30 am from the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff. Interment will follow at the George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Visiting is Monday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. www.vpfh.com
