To the family of Irene Wilkinson, We've never met however our Mom's became friends during their weekly hair appointments at Patricia's Hair Salon in Midland Park. My mother, Alida, always enjoyed chatting with your's while they were waiting or being helped at the Salon. She was disappointed if she missed seeing Irene for one reason or another. As with so many older ladies they'd lost their husbands and many of their friends, I suppose they had alot in common. I never met your Mom but I know from my Mom that she struggled with several health problems. I also know from my mother that Irene faced these challenges so bravely, that she rarely complained and always spoke with affection and gratitude of her family. Irene gave my mother alot of confidence and strength to meet her own challenges because of the way she tackled her's. I'm sorry I never had the chance to meet Irene, I wish I could thank her for the wonderful friend she was to my mother. My sincere condolences to your entire family. Lois Gardenier
