Having graduated from UD before Rich arrived I got to meet him for the first time at the Delta Gamma Omega reunion in Myrtle Beach just two weeks ago. Based on that short time together I came away thinking he was really one of the good guys and looked forward to seeing him again in the future. Marie and I were truly sorry to hear the news and out thoughts and prayers are with Faye and family.

Faye, I have been thinking about Rich. The thoughts go back as far as 40yrs. I can write words, but words are fleeting even though sincere. It's the memories that last. To those who knew Rich, I've been thinking a lot about Rich and all that we shared over the years. He's one of the guys and always will be. He will be missed. I feel grateful to have seen and enjoyed Rich's company so recently and so fully. I can still hear him calmly telling the story of driving the camper into the hotel overhang. He will be remembered.
