Obituary of Theresa Latto

LINKS LATTO, Theresa Lena (nee Perrone) age 99, died peacefully on Monday, January 8, 2007 at Hospice of New Jersey in Wayne. Theresa was born at home in Queens, NY on June 23, 1907. She lived in Ridgewood for more then 65 years before moving to Elmwood Park, with her final years in Equinunk PA. Theresa attended Millinery School in New York City at a very young age, and was employed as a Miller in her early career. After raising her family, she worked for the Paramus School District until retirement. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Ridgewood and a member of the Rosary Society. Surviving Theresa are her children, Eugene Links of Kinnelon, Theresa "Sylvia" O'Keefe of Wyckoff, Marilyn Yereance of Elmwood Park, Kenneth Links of Equinunk, PA, and Bruce Links of Jefferson City, MT. Theresa also leaves eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and her brother Anthony Perrone of New Milford. Theresa was pre-deceased by her first husband Alexander Links in 1968, and her second husband Alexander Latto in 1978. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 12, 2007 at 10:00 am from the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff. Funeral mass will follow 10:45 am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 52 Passaic Street, Ridgewood, NJ. Cremation will be private. Visiting is Thursday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
